Atlanta‘s Science and Nature Experience has 75 acres of nature and outdoor adventure. Fernbank Museum is excited to be able to welcome visitors safely and has great fun while learning from its impressive displays and collections.
COVID-19 Safety Procedures

- Keep your home clean if you’re sick or suffering from flu-like symptoms
- Hands must be cleaned, and hand soap to sanitize your hands.
- No outside food is allowed.
- No Re-entry
CDC requires face masks, regardless of vaccination status, and they are available in the Box Office and Museum Store for just $1.
Tickets

General Admission covers the museum’s exhibits and outdoor activities, such as The 75 acres of wilderness activities at WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.
Tickets are not refundable. However, transfer requests can be made before the visit date. Tickets for children aged two and under are free with an adult.

Fernbank Story
Fernbank Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the most frequented and famous tourist attractions in Atlanta. It is home to the world’s largest dinosaurs and the largest screen in Atlanta. Exhibits
Fernbank also has special exhibits such as Antarctic Dinosaurs, where you can take adventures with children and other family members to find an undiscovered dinosaur fossil.
Sky High, where you will find Georgia’s unique birds. This exhibit showcases the collection of Fernbank’s permanent collection.
Be sure to go to their indoor exhibits, such as their Fantastic Forces, where you will be awed by science in a way that is unlike anything else. These exhibits highlight the science behind tornadoes, rockets, and other aspects of science.
NatureQuest can be described as an experience that reveals children’s inner explorers, scientists, and adventurers, thanks to its stunning exhibits and fascinating encounters. It’s a permanent attraction located in Fernbank, perfect for family outings.
Giants of the Mesozoic is an exhibit in which you can imagine yourself as paleontologists as you look over the landscape and discover previously undiscovered burial sites and fossils from other animal and plant species.
There is also an area of forest where you can enjoy a 2-mile walking trail that winds through Fernbank Forest. It is a unique natural experience suitable for everyone of all ages.
